We helped Social Friday turn wasted Fridays into a sports-inspired movement for global good.

Fridays at work often feel like a write-off. Productivity dips, focus fades, and everyone counts down to the weekend. Social Friday saw potential in those hours, transforming them into opportunities to connect, give back, and build community. Recognized as a “World Changing Idea” by Fast Company and seen by millions on the TEDx stage, Social Friday encourages teams to leave work early and take on projects like cleaning parks and helping food banks, turning idle time into meaningful action.

But even with these accolades, Social Friday struggled to reach a wider audience. Community service often carries a stigma—it feels like a chore, not a choice. To change this, we helped Social Friday make giving back more vibrant and engaging.

We reimagined their concept through the energy of sports, turning volunteer days into “match days” that channel the camaraderie and excitement of athletic events. With a bold new identity, dynamic messaging, and a new website built to inspire action, we helped lay the foundation for Social Friday to reimagine Fridays everywhere.
